Welcome to Morris Brandon Elementary School, a top-ranked public school located in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, Georgia. Brandon's focus on excellence has earned three coveted distinctions as a National Blue Ribbon School, a Georgia School of Excellence, as well as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. School Hours: 8:00 am–2:30 pm
7:30 am (not before): School Opens for drop offs.
7:30–7:55 am: Free and Reduced Breakfast Program in the cafeteria.
Students not eating breakfast should wait in designated areas by grade level.
after 8:00 am: Students are tardy and must check in at the lobby desk.
Afternoon dismissal typically ends by 2:35 pm. All students should be picked up no later than 2:45 pm. Children not picked up, or having missed their bus, will be taken to the Main Office.

Transportation to and from school:
APS Buses: APS Transportation Office telephone number is (404) 753-9815. Walkers: Students who live within a mile of the school are not eligible for bus service.

Carpool: Main Campus – carpool drop off and pick up is on the Howell Mill Road Parking lot ONLY. Primary Center – carpool drop off and pick up is on the side entrance at Parkwood Drive. If you are carpooling to both campuses, please pick up at the main campus first. Driver cell phone use is prohibited at all times in the carpool line.

Changes in Transportation – Complete the Change of Transportation note and send with your child to school detailing all information. You child will present note to the parent volunteer at the school lobby desk prior to the 8:00 am start of school. No changes in transportation can be made via telephone and none will be accepted after 1:30 pm.

Standardized Tests: Kindergarten students will take the GKAP-R First through fifth grade will take the Georgia CRCT Third through fifth grade will take the ITBS and Georgia Writing Assessment
